Superbowl and Painting

Making garlic knots for the family superbowl "party." Daddy's request!

Touchdown!

Finger painting on a snowy day. This was Charlie's first time!

Not so sure about everything first...

Then he finally got into it, as you can see! I ended up having to chase him around the house when we were all done to wash his hands. He wanted to touch everything with those blue hands!

A sensory experience...tasting the paint!

Photo shoot...

Owen is laughing..."baby attack! baby attack!"

the sessler boys had a fun morning together!

Owen and mommy getting ready to head out into the blizzard. Owen wanted more than anything to work on cleaning off the cars. Always concerned for the well being of our cars!

Date morning with Mommy. We headed to Colby's and Owen wanted pancakes and eggs, which he got, but as you can see, did NOT finish!

January

Making monsters with the bristle blocks. Pictured here are Frank, Freak, Sally, and I can't remember the others..Owen is "freezing" for the camera.

Happy Birthday to Owen! We can't believe you are 3 years old!

Trying on mommy's uggs..

making a phone call..

Owen and Charlie have really started to play together a lot, which is really cute to watch. Here are some of their shenanigans..

making dinner together..

"Mommy, Charlie is all wet!!" Is what I heard from the kitchen. I walked into the bathroom to find this scene. Owen had taken a whole cup of water and dumped it on Charlie (who didn't seems to mind, and actually thought it was quite funny)!

New Years in Maine

Super Owen wiped out after driving the plasma car all over the house!

Daily walks down the road in Maine. As you can tell, it was very chilly!

No napping in the morning. So we headed out for a walk.

Mission accomplished.

Each walk included feeding the horses at the end of our road. This one was trying to give Nana some kisses.

Can you find the Golder sign? Not easy, I know. If only we had an artist in the family who could fix that? Hmm

Owen wimped out of the walk at approximately .2 miles....(of the 2 miles to go). So it was a good thing that Pop pop brought the sled. Auntie Ash volunteered to carry the extra weight!

Until Owen decided to give it a try. That didn't last very long!

Charlie's favorite spot. Watching the lake activity from the sunset window.

We took a trip to Portland to drop Ashley & Kellen off at the bus stop and to visit the Portland Children's Museum. The boys loved the excursion!

Despite his parents distaste for eggs, Owen is a fan. Thought his Daddy would love this photo. Eggs for dinner with Aunt Pat!

Out for another walk...
feeding the horses apples
how do i turn this thing on?

On New Years Day the lake was scattered with ice fisherman. We ventured out. If the ice could hold ice huts and 4 wheelers, we figured it could hold us too.
