Beach days...and that house!

Smoothies have been the boys' favorite on hot summer days.

5 families at the beach to celebrate our friends' birthday. A perfect evening.

Digging tunnels with Hailey, Tucker, and Soren. Hard at work.

I had to capture Charlie in this get-up. He was hysterical. Insisted on the sunglasses and rain boots on a 95 degree day! Love this kid.

8:30pm. Golder Painting crew, 20feet in the air, applying the final brush strokes on the house. A job well done!
A blurry picture, a blurry crew....9:30pm a celebration dinner of steak, chicken, and delicious corn on the cob made by Nana-without whom, this house painting would NEVER have happened! Thank you Nana!

Oh, and our first harvest of the year. The kids are now eating what we grow! This is what gardening with kids is all about. Yay!

4th of July Happenings

Our boys love to eat eggs...their father does NOT. He doesn't like the smell of them, the look of them, and most of all he doesn't like if they are anywhere near him. Charlie must have known that and being the stink that he is, continue to nudge a scrambled egg morsel closer and closer to Daddy. This was a scene that had to be captured!

Then it was off to Maine for the long weekend, with Aunt Pat & Uncle Larry and Nana & Pop pop of course!

On a cloudy day we headed to Bridgton for some shopping and a mandatory stop at the playground. But upon arrival, plans quickly changed when we spotted the opportunity for a fire truck ride!
Charlie's face says it all. We were actually going quite fast with the wind in our face.
Every trip to Bridgton must include a stop at Reny's. Owen and Charlie were chilling in the lawn chair section to avoid the crowds!
Charlie's first hike up Sabattus!

All wrapped up after a weekend of lake time

Market Square Day

We had a very busy Market square day weekend. It started off with Golder Painting getting our house ready to paint by power washing. Dad had quite the get-up on. Maybe not so fashionable, but very functional!

Then, on Saturday morning we were off to run in the MSD 10k. It was a great race and I'm just glad that I was able to finish!Me & LorieMe & Bec
After the race it began to rain, so we skipped seeing the vendors and headed in for some Flatbread. Eric and the boys had fun w/ the dough they give you.

Happy Birthday Nana!

Surprise Nana! We headed down to PA over Memorial Day weekend to celebrate Nana and throw her a party.

under the tent, great food, great people

The next day called for some lawn games. Wiffle ball to start. Which sister has better form?

Then we had to visit one of the coolest playgrounds. Owen and Charlie went to town while we stayed in the shade.
