Let's paint a picture

We decided that since Owen is now 2 years old, it's about time we broke out the watercolors, markers, and colored pencils and got to work! He loved having an artistic afternoon.


His color of choice today: black.

Look Mommy, I can sit up! Well....almost...

Charlie is starting to get the hang of sitting. He does even better if Owen is close by lining up his cars. Owen is his favorite form of entertainment. They're such buds!

So, it looks like he's leaning in to give me a better photo opp? But no, that means, "I'm about to fall on my face Mommy...save me!"


"Oh I see, maybe if I plant this arm here, it'll hold me up."


This moment ended shortly with Charlie plopping over onto his face. Also cute. I can't believe this little guy will be 6 months old tomorrow!

A Classic Dinner Conversation

Owen had quiet a lot to say the other night at dinner. After a long day at the beach and bedtime drawing near, he was a little giddy in his exhaustion!

Now we all have spring fever. We better not see anymore snow!

So, now that we have two little ones and family far away, we are going to give this whole blog thing a try. Here we can post as many videos as we want to (unlike shutterfly) and pictures galore. Owen and Charlie, this blog might be in place of your lack of baby books! The new digital baby book right? Anyways, enjoy!

This is our pre-tubby time ritual of "silly hats." This time Charlie joined in the fun...although I'm not so sure he thinks this is fun...hmm.
